If we hold on together
There are always these nights, when your body starts to lose its peak vigor, when your brain starts to wonder, what you have done, and what there is left to be done.
Nights you stay up alone, your mind keeping you awake, but your body begging for sleep.
Nights you feel like you're all alone in the whole world of six billion people, a world overpopulated and underloved, wanting and denying.
I wonder, what would one do on such a night, if one were born before the Internet, before the Telephone, before Telex? We've come this far. Yet keeping on believing that tomorrow actually holds something for us, is increasingly difficult. We're getting increasingly connected, but I feel increasingly cornered. Sometimes I feel like I'm losing my voice. That it takes too much courage to get the word out there.
