人生のドラマ

Feels like I've been watching life like a drama recently.

A friend's dad passed away.

A friend passed his qualifying examinations.

A friend's shop got burned before business started.

A friend had such a bad day at work he didn't want to talk about it.

A friend who used to get rejected by credit card companies got his 12th card.

A friend is feeling lost at work because things don't seem to be working out so smoothly on his new job.

A friend's having family problems and he's trying to play the diplomat.

I'm sure the drama is being acted out in its different versions all over the world all the time. Every time I see life this way, life becomes a little more real - and the more real life gets, the more it feels like a dream...

I hope that every time I meet people in their drama of life, I will have all the words to help them put the reality back into the dream, and to put the dream back into the reality.

Sounds pretty tough. But I'm glad that you are experiencing that. When you have a kid, everything zeros into your own minute family life, rather than the lives of others. Hence, it is a deep privilege being able to partake of someone else's life so deeply and in critical occassions.
