It's strange everytime I listen to something from Les Miserables. My first contact with it was when I was in primary school... that's all the way back in 1990. 18 years down the road and a thousand miles away from where I was brought up I still find it around me.
It's strange, because, in a world of change, I find it amazing, even unbelievable that something can stay around for 18 years. X-Japan and The Beatles rank among the same class of miracles for me.
Perhaps 20 years is not a long time for many, but for me, I tend to believe that everything changes every 4 years. So 20 years is a very long time to me.
But in the midst of all this change, it is comforting to know that some things manage to remain, and give us an idea, every time we look up to see the beacon in the distance, just how far we have come.
Thank you Mr Raquiza.
